We discuss the

Episode 1
You can find us on numerous podcasting platforms like iTunes, Podbean, Stitch, Google Play etc. Or you can go directly to our RSS feed and listen there.
In segment 1, we dust off our podcasting cobwebs by introducing ourselves and what we we are about - sort of a 'getting to know us' segment. We discuss our own special brand of nerdetry and touch on what being a nerd means to each of us by talking a bit about our lives and hobbies.
In segment 2 (starting around 1hr 9 min 50 sec) we discuss the Paramount/CBS lawsuit to stop a fan-made Star Trek film from being made along with some community reaction about Klingon being a real language. Later (1 hr 29 min 29 sec) we get into nerd-rage and how it isn't just limited to the nerd subset of our culture. From politics to guns to mainstream entertainment, we examine how social media and memes fundamentally changes how we communicate and discuss important topics.

This episode does run long, but hey, cut us some slack. We've had nearly 4 years of pent up stuff to talk about. Thank you for listening!

Hello and Welcome!
Starting in 2009, Dice Like Thunder took off as we got into Warhammer 40,000. Eventually, like all good bowel movements, that ended and we started The Eternal Warriors with a focus on 40K, but also getting into other games like Warmachine and Battletech. These two weekly podcasts were high caliber and low quality, but more importantly, we had fun doing them. For us, it was about our group of four or five friends getting together and chatting but with microphones recording us. We were not overly concerned with how many downloads our show received, but we do enjoy having and interacting with listeners. Indeed, the first people reading this will probably be a few of our old listeners. A special welcome to you!
Much like our previous podcasting adventures, you can expect the same type of camaraderie. This show will sound like three dudes in a room being recorded - that is intentional. As you listen, we want you to feel like you are here as part of the conversation. If by chance you happen to burst out laughing at a totally inopportune moment, we did our job. And you're welcome!
The topics of this show will vary widely from our previous endeavors. Yes, you will still get games and neredtry from us, but you will also get other topics outside of gaming that cover everything that we obsessively love. Overall though, you will get US. We are genuine people who are doing this for the fun of it and require nothing from you except an hour of your time each month. A quick warning though: we are adults and we will be using adult words. Take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly.
Part of feeling like you are a part of our conversation means you may want to join in. Feel free to write us or message us as we welcome anyone to contact us. You can reach us clicking the link of our Facebook Page or by Email.
To close, thank you for giving us a chance.
